MARLBOROUGH — City Council advances $160.5 million bond for new K-5 school at Foley Road. The facility will serve approximately 950 students adjacent to the existing Raymond C. Richer Elementary School, with the project referred to the Finance Committee and ordered advertised for bonding; the city acknowledges potential Massachusetts School Building Authority grant eligibility at a non-entitlement maximum of 78.8 percent of eligible costs.
The Council simultaneously approved a $6.3 million stormwater infrastructure bond and unanimously approved zoning amendments increasing multifamily dwelling limits from 100 to 400 units in the Results Way Mixed Use Overlay District Subdistrict 2.
