City Council approves four-fold increase in dwelling units at Results Way

Marlborough approves four-fold expansion of dwelling units at Results Way overlay district. City Council voted unanimously to amend the Results Way Mixed Use Overlay District zoning, raising the maximum number of residential units in Subdistrict 2 from 100 to 400. The council also voted 10-0 to transfer $565,811 from PEG Funds to Marlborough Cable Trust for WMCT-TV's fiscal year 2027 operations.

Separately, the council appointed Jeffrey F. Gogan, Jr. as Fire Chief for a five-year term and voted 9-1 to support Massachusetts House Bill 91 and Senate Bill 2556, legislation that would modernize community media funding statewide.
