City Council Approves Open Space and Recreation Plan Through 2032

Marlborough City Council approves new open space and recreation plan through 2032. Council President Michael H. Ossing and all 11 councilors unanimously approved the Final Open Space and Recreation Plan for 2026-2032.
The council also approved grant and gift acceptances totaling more than $26,000 for municipal programs including downtown festival support, library programs and mural funding, and a police drone unit. The council scheduled public hearings on February 23 for a utility pole relocation petition and March 9 for a multifamily housing special permit application at Ames and Forest Streets proposing 90 residential units. The council also approved a special law establishing new procedures for filling Ward Councilor vacancies.
