City Council Approves Special Permits for Gym and Storage

Marlborough City Council approves fitness gym and warehouse storage permits. The council voted 11-0 to grant Lifestyle Fit LLC a special permit for a 5,700-square-foot fitness gym at 214 Cedar Hill Street, offering physical fitness classes, strength and performance training, and fitness education within the Industrial Zoning District, operating 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. In a separate vote, the council approved outdoor warehouse storage at 1000 Nickerson Road for JC Residential and Light Commercial LLC by 10-1, with Councilor Kathleen D.

Robey dissenting, requiring 12-foot chain-link fencing to screen the storage area.
