Marlborough City Council schedules $222.9 million FY27 budget for public hearing. The council voted unanimously to set May 18, 2026, for a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2027 operating budget totaling $222,882,585, which represents a 4.24 percent increase over FY26 appropriation. In related action, Council President Michael H.
Ossing guided the body through approval of a utility pole installation on Hudson Street with 13 detailed conditions and grant acceptances totaling $8,289.41 for the Fire Department's SAFE Program. Reappointments were approved for the Community Development Authority and Council on Aging, and Teona C. Brown was appointed to the Conservation Commission.
