Marlborough Conservation Commission unanimously approves maintenance order for the Fort Meadow Dam. The Commission approved the order in a 7-0 vote, clearing the way for the Department of Public Works to remove 33 trees and expose the underdrain outlet pipe as required by the Massachusetts Office of Dam Safety. Conservation Officer Priscilla Ryder confirmed the work qualifies as maintenance under state regulations, while a historical plan from 1982 showed similar work performed during the original underdrain installation.
