Marlborough Conservation Commission approves nitrogen tank and sports facility. The commission unanimously approved a negative determination of applicability for HBK Inc. to install a 1,450-gallon nitrogen tank at 19 Bartlett St., and issued a certificate of compliance for a 30,000-square-foot sports facility at 280 Locke Dr. with soccer and lacrosse fields. In a separate unanimous vote, the commission voted to assess daily fines for a wetland violation at 300 Cedar Hill St.
Conservation Officer Priscilla Ryder will organize a neighborhood meeting to gather resident input on management options for a 0.9-acre open space parcel on Cook Lane deeded to the city for conservation purposes.
