Council on Aging approves minutes, reviews program costs

Marlborough Council on Aging approves prior month minutes. The board unanimously approved the January 13 minutes with a correction to Pat Gallier's service record. Executive Director Trish Pope reported upcoming programs: CPR training March 18 ($25-$35), St.
Patrick's Day Luncheon March 12, and the Senior Citizen Residential Property Tax Work Off Program with an application deadline March 13 for two Senior Center positions. The board reviewed fiscal 2025 program costs showing special luncheons cost the center $26.66-$30.47 per meal while seniors pay flat $15; fitness classes cost instructors $60-$75 and seniors $4 per class; bus trips are fully senior-funded. Chair Joseph Bisol reported that board member Raymond Magee is seeking reelection and new candidate Judith MacDonald was interviewed for city council approval.
