Dumais Names Peckham Assistant Fire Chief Of Operations

MARLBOROUGH — Mayor J. Christian Dumais announced the promotion of Battalion Chief Michael Peckham to assistant fire chief of operations, filling the post left vacant by Chief Gogan, according to a city announcement posted this weekend.

TOWN HALL

Mayor Dumais said in the announcement that Peckham's promotion fills the operations post formerly held by Chief Gogan, calling it a step up in the department's command structure. The city did not detail Peckham's prior tenure or start date for the new role beyond confirming the appointment.

Separately, the city posted a public notice on its Community Choice Power Supply Program covering rates from August 2026 through January 2027, a six-month stretch, though the notice itself did not spell out the new rate figures.
