Licensing Board approves extended hours for downtown restaurant Chapa Paisa on Main Street.

Licensing Board · Meeting of June 24, 2026

Licensing Board approves extended hours for downtown restaurant Chapa Paisa on Main Street. The board voted 2-0 to allow the establishment, operated by licensed manager Saul E. Carvajal, to extend operating hours from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays, and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Member David Bouvier said the establishment has proven itself a responsible license holder and that the extended hours represent a good addition to downtown development efforts. The board also approved a temporary one-hour extension through July 31, 2026, under state legislation permitting extended hours during FIFA World Cup events.
