Marlborough Council on Aging approves corrected prior minutes, notes board candidates. The board unanimously approved February 10 minutes, correcting the date of the St. Patrick Luncheon to March 12.
Executive Director Trish Pope reported the AARP Tax Preparation program has deployed at least seven tax preparers on site and fitness contracts are under negotiation. Chair Joseph Bisol reported that Vice Chair Raymond Magee, seeking a second term, and new candidate Judith McDonald have been submitted to city council for approval. In Springwell updates, Bisol noted over 400 seniors have been disenrolled from SCO due to lack of Medicare enrollment, and cited concerns about healthcare worker shortages stemming from immigration law changes.
