MARLBOROUGH — Marlborough election officials opened early voting hours this weekend as the state's contested U.S. Senate primary entered its final stretch, a city public notice announced, while City Hall also posted a legal notice on the pending renewal of the city's cable-television license with Comcast.

The city posted a public notice announcing that early voting hours began Saturday, Aug. 22, giving Marlborough residents their first opportunity to cast ballots ahead of the state primary. The notice did not specify polling locations or hours in the portion available to Townbrief Marlborough.
Separately, City Hall posted a legal notice regarding the renewal of the City of Marlborough's cable-television license with Comcast, a routine municipal filing tied to the franchise agreement that governs cable service in the city.
