Marlborough Police Complete Body Camera Rollout For All 73 Officers

MARLBOROUGH — All 73 members of the Marlborough Police Department are now wearing body cameras following a rollout that began August 19, and City Hall used the past day to announce a new leader in the fire department's command structure.

TOWN HALL Mayor J. Christian Dumais announced the promotion of Battalion Chief Michael Peckham to Assistant Fire Chief of Operations, filling the position formerly held by Chief Gogan, according to a City Hall News Flash post. The announcement did not include an effective date or additional detail on Peckham's background.

Separately, the city posted a public notice on its Community Choice Supply Program covering the period from August 2026 through January 2027. The notice did not include specific rate figures.

COMMUNITY & ARTS Marlborough Public Library hosted Sing-Along Saturday on August 29 at 10 a.m., part of the library's ongoing children's programming calendar, per the library's event listing.
