Marlborough Schools Open Registration For 2026-2027 Year

Marlborough Public Library kept a full slate of free programming running this week at its West Main Street branch. Monday evening brought a Watercolor Bookmarks Painting Workshop and a "Read to a Dog" session, both at 6 p.m., while an English Conversation Circle met at 10 a.m. for three straight days beginning Tuesday.
The library closes out the week Thursday, August 20, with a Scott Martell magic show at 11 a.m. and a Chocolate Exploration session led by Kim Larkin at 1 p.m. Other sessions this week included an Imaginative Play: Animal Crossing IRL program, a beginner keyboarding class, a Plant Prints Workshop, and a session on how to use the library's catalog.
COMING UP
The city's Licensing Board holds its regular meeting Wednesday, August 19, the same day the Labor Day Parade Committee meets. The Zoning Board of Appeals, Conservation Commission and Fort Meadow Commission all meet Thursday, August 20. On Sunday, August 23, USA Ninja Challenge at 19 Brigham St. hosts an open house for its obstacle gym starting at 2 p.m.
