Planning Board organizes for 2026, advances Jewell Road to Council

Marlborough Planning Board elects leadership, advances Jewell Road for public acceptance. Sean N Fay was elected Chairperson and George LaVenture as Clerk for 2026 at the board's organizational meeting, with both votes approved unanimously. The board voted unanimously to recommend to the City Council that Jewell Road be accepted as a public way with appurtenant easements accepted as municipal easements, advancing a 689 Pleasant Street residential subdivision toward completion.
The board also scheduled a public hearing for February 9 on a preliminary subdivision plan for 0 Howe Street and 0 Valley Street involving a five-lot residential development with four duplexes and one single-family home.
