Planning Board refers zoning amendment for Fire Department review
Planning Board · Meeting of April 27, 2026
MARLBOROUGH — Planning Board seeks Fire Department input on zoning amendment. The board held a public hearing on Order No. 26-1009683, which would increase residential capacity at the Campus at Marlborough from 100 to 400 units, including 300 multi-family units and 100 townhomes from Greatland Realty Partners. Greatland estimated the expansion would generate $1.6 million in net annual tax revenue after accounting for city services costs.
One resident, Damon Michaels of 93 Chase Road, spoke in opposition. The board voted unanimously to close the public hearing and request the Fire Department's assessment of emergency response times and service capacity.
