Police, Fire Officials Dominate Marlborough's 2025 Top-Earner List

Police and fire personnel filled most of the top spots on Marlborough's list of highest-paid municipal employees in 2025, according to a new MetroWest Daily News review of city payroll records published this weekend.

Marlborough Public Library has a full slate of programming this week: Read to a Dog on Monday, July 27, at 6 p.m.; English Conversation Circle on Tuesday, July 28, at 10 a.m., followed by Habitats Exploration at 11 a.m., Bad Art Afternoon at 3:30 p.m. and Little Artists Club at 4 p.m.; and a second English Conversation Circle session Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. alongside Storybook Art Club, also at 10 a.m. All programs are at the library's 35 W. Main St. location.

At City Hall, the Retirement Board meets Tuesday, July 28, the Traffic Commission meets Wednesday, July 29, and the Marlborough Community Development Authority board meets Thursday, July 30, according to the city's public meeting calendar.
