Marlborough Licensing Board approves extended liquor hours for three establishments under state pilot. The board voted unanimously to grant temporary extended hours to Funky Murphy's (until 2:30 AM, effective through July 31), Chapa Paisa (hours extended to 10:00 PM weekdays and 10:30 PM weekends through July 31), and Lalo's Mexican Restaurant (until 10:00 PM weekdays and 11:00 PM weekends through July 31). Chair Gregory Mitrakas and Member Mary Jo Nawrocki approved the applications in response to a state law signed June 8 that permits municipalities to temporarily extend on-premises liquor service hours during summer 2026.
Bolton Street Tavern's application was tabled pending the applicant's attendance.
