Traffic Commission approves Church/Hildreth all-way stop sign.

Traffic Commission · Meeting of April 29, 2026

Marlborough Traffic Commission approves Church/Hildreth all-way stop sign and refers four safety requests. Chairman David A. Giorgi led the Traffic Commission to unanimously approve a regulation making Church and Hildreth Streets an all-way stop intersection, closing a trial period, with the Department of Public Works directed to remove existing traffic signals.

The commission referred four traffic safety requests to city departments: speeding on Raymond Road from resident Brian Kellaway (police to deploy speed sign, engineering to review warning signage), enhanced crosswalk signage at Collins Funeral Home on Lincoln Street from resident Richard Collins, similar signage at Cook Lane and Sunshine Drive from resident Molly Marshall, and pedestrian concerns on Stevens Street from Councilor Oram. The one-way traffic pattern on Grace Circle at Jaworek School was closed as implemented.
