Traffic Commission approves measures for Stacey Road and refers safety concerns
Traffic Commission · Meeting of January 28, 2026
Marlborough Traffic Commission approves no-parking measures for Stacey Road school zone. The commission voted unanimously to install a "No Parking from Here to Corner" sign on Stacey Road to address congestion during Jaworek School pickup and dropoff, where parking on both sides reduces the street to a single lane. Police Chief David A.
Giorgi directed the Police Traffic Unit to continue monitoring speeding issues on Myles Standish, Simpson, Grace Circle, and Cetrina roads. The commission also referred a traffic-light request for Crowley Drive and Fitchburg Street and a truck-routing concern at Beach Street to the city's Engineering Department for further investigation.
