Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 24, 2026
Marlborough ZBA approves solar array at Red Spring Road. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously, 4-0, to grant a special permit for a 24-module ground-mounted solar array at 53 Red Spring Road. Applicants Julian Tryba and Grace Schierberl received approval from the Red Spring Shores homeowners association and committed to planting four evergreens along the western side of the array to minimize visual impact.
The Board found the installation would not be detrimental to the neighborhood and complies with the city's Zoning Ordinance.
