Marlboro City Council reelects Ossing president, Robey vice president for 2023

MARLBOROUGH — January 9, 2023 — Marlboro City Council reorganizes for 2023 and welcomes eight new patrol officers. Michael H. Ossing was reelected council president 10-0, Katie Robey elected vice president 10-0, and Christian Dumas elected president pro tem 10-0, with Councilor Wagner absent. Police Chief David Giorgio introduced new officers Brandon Carty, Patrick Craigen, Matthew Curran, Michael Donnelly, Georgia Kramer, Leandro Linds, Jeremy Schold and Nicholas St. Jean, plus 2022 promotions for Sgts. Scott Disiero, David Monti and David Watkins and Lt. John Graham. The council accepted a municipal aggregation update reporting more than $454,000 in residential savings in Q3 2022 and an estimated $5.7 million for the full year, and approved a $35,466.20 REDO grant for MEDC downtown work, a $24,900.78 fire equipment grant, and a $15,000 Mass Cultural Council award — "well done," Ossing said, noting the cultural grant had doubled from $7,500.
