Marlborough City Council elects Ossing president, Robey vice president for 2022

MARLBOROUGH — January 3, 2022 — Marlborough City Council elects Ossing president and Robey vice president on unanimous votes. The council opened its 2022 term Monday with three 11-0 roll calls, first electing Councilor Christian Dumas as president pro tem on a motion by At-Large Councilor Michael H. Ossing, seconded by Ward 2 Councilor David Doucette. Dumas then presided over the election of Ossing as president and At-Large Councilor Kathleen D. Robey as vice president, both nominated without opposition. "I look forward to working with each of you collaboratively as we look to move the city of Marlborough forward in 2022," Ossing told colleagues. Robey's motion to carry the 2021 council rules into the new year pending a rules review also passed unanimously. The council adjourned at 11:32 and meets next on Jan. 10.
