Personnel Committee postpones four ZBA reappointments after nominees skip meeting

MARLBOROUGH — March 19, 2025 — Marlborough Personnel Committee postpones four ZBA reappointments after no nominees show. The committee voted 3-0 Wednesday night to hold Order No. 24-109-327, which bundles Mayor J. Christian Dumas's reappointments of Ralph Lofton, Thomas Golden, Robert Levine and Thomas Pope to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Councilor Brown made the motion, saying members should wait until "we're able to coordinate and have some or all of them attend." Lofton and Golden are slated for terms through Feb. 24, 2027; Levine through Feb. 24, 2028; and Pope through Sept. 12, 2026. The committee adjourned 3-0 at 7:17 p.m., roughly two minutes after gaveling in.
